This message is to inform you of staffing changes at the Nova Scotia Liberal Party office. Executive Director Michael Mercer has departed the organization.

On behalf of the Provincial Board, I would like to thank Mike for his seven and a half years of service and dedication to the NSLP, and especially for always carrying himself with the highest honesty and integrity. Throughout his tenure, Mike worked closely with the Board, the Party’s Executive Council, Caucus members, staff, and Liberal members from across Nova Scotia to help them advance their goals. Under his leadership, our organizational and fundraising capacity grew—providing a strong foundation for a successor. We sincerely wish Mike all the best.

Following our AGM, the new Board will soon begin the planning process for a new Executive Director search, a process that will include opportunities for input from Party members. We are committed to providing regular updates on the process.
